Mon - Bike - 7.1 loop - NT - 155#

Shhhhh, don't tell my scales, but they think I have lost weight. My pants know better though. Today the diet really starts.

Mocha 200
Salad/dressing 200
Grilled Chicken Breast 250
Veggies 70

Total 720

Bike ride was brisk, and I took it easy. Wore Tneck and Sweatshirt, sweat pants. Was hot and cold. I think it was 50-55 degrees, with a little wind.

Thur - JQ 1 mi. - NT

I ran the neighborhood streets. It was raining and the rain was cold. I ran the entire length. That was about all I could stand too. Maybe it was the cheesecake.

Wed - Yoga - restorative

I didn't get my bike back in time to ride. Went to yoga and spent the 1 1/2 hours meditating in lots of different positions. Really cool.

Well, I ran most of it. I took 5 or 6 very short walk breaks. It was a good run - 67 degrees according to college reader board. Gotta get my bike back for tomorrow!

Mon - CFT 3.2 50:42

Well, I guess it's 3.2. Actually, I think that from the house back to the house it's a little farther. Anyway, I thought I was really slow, but I guess I was actually faster today. The running I did was really great! But - There were a few moments when I was having the most odd experience. I felt like I was on the verge of an orgasm. A great feeling for anything but running! (Maybe)

Anyway, I might be running again tomorrow since girl child has my bike. Yoga Wednesday, Bike Thurs. Run Fri? Maybe bike Fri.

Sat - Hiked D Lake & C Park

My son and I went on a nice long hike, all around D Lake. It was a lot of fun and a lot of rock climbing. Will do that again. As a matter of fact, it was so much fun I almost feel guilty logging it as exercise.

I should have been able to crawl the college fitness trail faster than that! I can't imagine what really happened. My intestines felt really bad. It was a beautiful 60 degrees, and when I could stay focused, I ran well. But boy is that a slow time. I did walk a lot of it, but oh well.

Wed - Bike - 7.1 loop - 42:00 Yoga - Shoulder Strenth STP

I impulsively decided to ride my bike today. It was a great choice. It was about 75 degrees, and a steady 15mph Idaho wind blowing.

I rode my bike to yoga and found out that the reason have been late is not because they started right at 6:30, but because class begins at 6:00. Not a mistake I will make again, I assure you. The meditation at the end was quite good. Learned a new thing today where you go into dog and turn to your side like a cross. It was really hard, but fun. Next week is restorative.

Started period today.

Tue - Bike - 7.1 loop - 46:14 - 158#

It was probably 70+ degrees out there. The skies were overcast, the leaves turning and falling. I hit every light at green and hauled butt down the hospital hill. It was so much fun. I took 46 minutes, but it sure didn't feel like it. I had a great time. I rode up both exit climbs, which actually suprized me since it has been so long. It was a strong ride that strengthened my spirit.


Today I weigh 158lbs (ouch!) on my scales. I deserve that, what with all the crap I've been cramming down my throat lately. I'm on it now! I am here at the turn of the tide.
